Prof. Soshu Kirihara is a doctor of engineering and a professor of Joining and Welding Research Institute (JWRI), Osaka University, Japan. In his main investigation “Materials Tectonics” for environmental improvements of “Geotechnology”, multi-dimensional structures were successfully fabricated to modulate energy and materials flows effectively. Ceramic and metal components were fabricated directly by smart additive manufacturing, design and evaluation (Smart MADE) using high power ultraviolet laser lithography. Original stereolithography systems were developed, and new start-up company “SK-Fine” was established through academic-industrial collaboration.

Dr. Osman Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey. He studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a post doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987, and his studies focused on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University and shifted to Firat University in 1980. He became professor in 1996, and he has been retired due to the age limit of 67, following academic life of 45 years. He published over 80 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 120 conferences and symposia in international and national level as Plenary Speaker, Keynote Speaker, Invited speaker, speaker or Poster presenter. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last six years (2014 - 2019) over 60 conferences as Speaker, Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies in different countries. Additionally, he retired at the end of November 2019, and contributed with Keynote/Plenary Speeches over 60 Virtual/Webinar Conferences, due to the coronavirus outbreak in two year of his retirement, 2020 and 2021. Dr. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University in 1999-2004. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M. Sc theses. He is also Technical committee member of many conferences. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File. Scientific fields of Dr. Adiguzel: Shape memory effect and displacive phase transformations in shape memory alloys and other alloys, molecular dynamics simulations, alloy modeling, electron microscopy, electron diffraction, x-ray diffraction and crystallography.

C. A. Biffi obtained master degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2005 and PhD in 2009 at Politecnico di Milano –Mechanical Department on the topic “Microdrilling of titanium with pulsed fiber laser: characterization of the process and reduction of spatter”. He is currently working as researcher at National Research Council of Italy, Institute of Condensed Matter Chemistry and Technologies for Energy (ICMATE, formerly IENI), Lecco, from 2009. His main research topics include production, characterization and workability of unconventional shape memory alloys, mainly for high temperature applications, as well as laser material processing (welding, drilling, cutting, surface modification and thermal treatment) of advanced materials, such as shape memory alloys as well as titanium, magnesium alloys and aluminium based metal matrix composites . He is currently professor under contract of “Advanced Manufacturing Processes”, at Politecnico di Milano- Lecco Unit from 2010. He is co-author of more than 70 papers published on international and national journals as well as from international and national conferences. He is currently member of the Italian Association for Manufacturing (AITEM) and Italian Association for Metallurgy (AIM).

Dr. Afshin Abrishamkar received his B.Sc. from IUT (Iran), during which he spent an exchange period at CEFET-MG (Brazil), and M.Sc., with distinction, from LUT (Finland). He earned his Ph.D. from ETH Zurich (Switzerland), followed by postdoctoral research at PSL Research University (France) prior to joining McMaster University (Canada) as a postdoctoral fellow. He has been the recipient of several honors/awards including IAESTE Internship Abroad Scholarship (2009), LUT Research Fellowship (2013), Excellence in Studies Award (2014), European Cooperation in Science & Technology Travel Award (2017), Meetings International Young Scientist Award (2020), and 2020 GDR Micro-Nano-Fluidics Young Researcher in Microfluidics Award (2021)

Prof. Geoffrey Mitchell is Professor and Vice-Director of the Centre for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development at the Polytechnic Institute Leiria in Portugal. He is passionate about the opportunities provided by direct digital manufacturing. Geoffrey Mitchell carried out his doctoral work at the University of Cambridge in the UK and subsequently held post-doctoral fellowships at Cambridge and at Hokkaido University in Japan. Prior to his current position he was Professor of Polymer Physics at the University of Reading, UK and the founding Director of the Centre for Advanced Microscopy at Reading. His research work bridges physics, biology, chemistry and technology and he is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and the Royal Society of Chemistry as well as the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and a Member of the Institute for Physics and Engineering of Medicine. He is a Visiting Medical Physicist at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Oxford UK

Prof. Dr. Ilaria Cacciotti is Professor of Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering and Materials Science & Technology at University of Rome "Niccolò Cusano", with consolidated expertise in the synthesis and characterization of (bio)materials and eco-sustainable systems. She is Member of the Research and Projects Committee and of the PhD School Board. She graduated in Medical Engineering at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” (Master of Science Award ‘Fondazione Raeli’). Afterwards, she completed the Ph.D in Materials Engineering (Ph.D Thesis Award ‘Marco Ramoni 2011, Ph.D Thesis AIMAT Award 2012) and she obtained the II Level Master degrees in “Forensic Genetics” and in "Protection against CBRNe events". Furthermore, she is reviewer for more than 100 peer-review journals, e.g. Acta Biomaterialia, Biofabrication, Chemical Engineering Journal, is a member of the Editorial Board of several international journals, including Applied Science-MDPI, Biomedical glasses-DE GRUYTER OPEN, Frontiers in Biomaterials, Open Journal of Materials Science-Bentham Science, Recent Patents on Materials Science-Bentham Science, The Open Materials Science Journal-Bentham Open, Reviews on Advanced Materials Science-DE GRUYTER OPEN, and serves on various grant review committees, such as National Science Foundation (NSF) and Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI). Dr Wei Min Huang has over 20 years of experience on various shape memory materials (alloy, polymer, composite and hybrid), he has published over 190 papers in journals, such as Accounts of Chemical Research, Advanced Drug Delivery Reviews, and Materials Today, and has been invited to review manuscripts from over 270 international journals (including Progress in Polymer Science, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, and Advanced Functional Materials, etc), project proposals from American Chemical Society, Hong Kong Research Grants Council, etc, and book proposals from Springer, Elsevier and CRC. He has published two books (Thin film shape memory alloys – fundamentals and device applications, Polyurethane shape memory polymers) and is currently on the editorial board of over three dozen of journals.

Prof. Maki Habib obtained his Doctor of Engineering Sciences (DES) in Intelligent and Autonomous Robotics from the University of Tsukuba in 1990, Japan. He was a selected research scientist at RIKEN, Japan, and senior researcher at RISO-Laboratories, Japan, and visiting researcher at EPFL, Switzerland. He was a visiting expert under Asian Development Bank (ADB), Associate Professor at UTM, Malaysia, and a Senior Manager at MCRIA for engineering projects and industrial consultation, Malaysia. He was a leading senior research scientist with GMD-Japan, Japan leading Telecooperation research group. Associate Professor with Monash University (Australia/Malaysia), he developed and led the Mechatronics Engineering program. He was appointed as a full Professor of Robotics and Mechatronics at Swinburne University (Australia/Malaysia). Then, he was an invited Professor at KAIST, South Korea, Residing Professor at Saga University, Japan, and since Sept. 2007 he is a full Professor of Robotics and Mechatronics at AUC. Habib was a visiting professor (short term) at many Universities around the world, such as, Nagasaki University-Japan, Hokkoido University-Japan, Orebro University – Sweden, Norwegian University of Science and Technology – Norway, etc. Habib served as a consultant and Technical advisor to well-known international companies including Toyota group and ABB. Habib is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Regional Editor and Associate Editor of 10 International Journals, and Editorial Board member of another 10 International Journals beside his leadership as a member of international organizing/program committee of more than 20 International Conference every year. Habib edited more than 14 books, published more than 26 book chapters and also more than 275 papers at international journals and international conferences.

Prof. Dariusz Jacek Jakóbczak was born in Koszalin, Poland, on December 30, 1965. He graduated in mathematics (numerical methods and programming) from the University of Gdansk, Poland in 1990. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2007 in computer science from the Polish – Japanese Institute of Information Technology, Warsaw, Poland. From 1991 to 1994 he was a civilian programmer in the High Military School in Koszalin. He was a teacher of mathematics and computer science in the Private Economic School in Koszalin from 1995 to 1999. Since March 1998 he has worked in the Department of Electronics and Computer Science, Koszalin University of Technology, Poland and since October 2007 he has been an Assistant Professor in the Chair of Computer Science and Management in this department. His research interests connect mathematics with computer science and include computer vision, artificial intelligence, shape representation, curve interpolation, contour reconstruction and geometric modeling, numerical methods, probabilistic methods, game theory, operational research and discrete mathematics.

Qiang Zhu, graduated from the Universität Erlangen- Nürnberg, Germany, majoring in material science and obtained a Dr.-Ing. Degree in 1994. He uses to be vice chief engineer and chief scientist in the General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals (Beijing)?vice director of the National Research Center for Non Ferrous Metal Based Composites, the established director of the Beijing Research Center for Advanced Forming Technologies of Metals. Now he is the Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), UK, the Chairman of the 15th International Technical Committee of Semi-Solid Processing of Alloys and Composites, executive director of the Shenzhen Key Laboratory for Additive Manufacturing of High Performance Materials. Dr. Zhu has completed or been ongoing research projects of France-China cooperation project, National Natural Science Foundation of Germany, National Natural Science Foundation key project of UK and the life improvement project of the impeller and turbine for the key components of Cummins global turbocharger, China central government and local government key research programs. Zhu gave a number of invited speeches to internationally well-known academic conferences as well as universities and enterprises, published more than 160 articles and as chief editor published 2 academic books. He is also applied or granted 1 International invention patent and 50 Chinese patents.

Dr. Bharat M. Mody, Educationist, 3 D Printing consultant, Specialist of Oral Medicine and Radiology. Currently engaged in Medical/Dental 3 D Printing, Designing, Fabricating and Simulations. Have conducted workshops on Evidence Based Education System, Faculty Development and CBCT Software Manipulations. Teaching for 33 years, Dean of two Dental Colleges and Faculty teachers in different colleges. Graduated in 1976, post Graduation in 1981—MDS in Oral Medicine and Radiology.
